Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

Madrid welcomed faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to highlight diversity and coexistence. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.

In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
